Books and illustration

The story of Gertie the Gull was inspired by a week's holiday in Devon with grandchildren.

Our books aim to show a different view of creatures, both real and fantastic.....A shy dragon, a lonely frog, a hen that thought she was human.

The hope is that children will read them and relate to difficulties...which can always be overcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GERTIE waits for food

Marmaduke is a character developed for an animation company.

He is based on a real cat, and is an example of cartooning from life.

How about a cartoon picture of a favorite animal for a favorite relative or friend?

Or perhaps a more realistic drawing?

Stories that are based in reality are easy for children to understand.

BOXER was a family pet that underwent an operation on his paws and had to wear gloves as protection until the scars healed.......thus providing the germ of an idea for a story about a dog that does battle on behalf of other "underdogs"
