New Publications in Development

illustration for a book on cats by Elisabeth Finlay

"Rules For CATS" was commissioned by an individual who wanted some original and amusing gifts for her friends.

Small publishing projects bring great rewards. There are few copies, and usual they are destined for people who will treasure them, and keep them as a reminder of the giver.

In these days of mass production and sales, something that is rare has added value

A book that appeals to inquistive chidren

QUE - The Lonely Frog. This book is aimed at children of between 3 and 7; who are still enjoy a 'book at bedtime'. It combines fantasy with an element of natural truth. Que is lonely but only for a short time, as she is the new 'QUEEN' of the pond in the garden.

Publishers who are interested in a well-illustrated, entertaining book for children can get all details of the story and illustrations available should contact:

Sally the Shy Dragon

Sally the Shy Dragon is an illustrated book, with an original character.

It will appeal to any child that has irrational fears; of the dark, of being alone or of new places. Sally is not only shy, but she too is frightened by the dark.....

The illustrations are a mixture of watercolour and digital enhanced colour.

Gertie the Gull - a book for young children

GERTIE THE GULL is based on an actual incident and features a gull with a broken leg. The illustrations reflect the Devon coast, and underline the natural life of a seagull.

The images are based on watercolour original paintings, digitally enhanced by Photoshop.

Both text and drawings have been created by Margaret Murray
