The illustrations are a mixture of watercolour and digital enhanced colour.

GERTIE THE GULL is based on an actual incident and features a gull with a broken leg. The illustrations reflect the Devon coast, and underline the natural life of a seagull.

The images are based on watercolour original paintings, digitally enhanced by Photoshop.
